Heart Attack Warning Symptoms

Last updated 8 months ago

Most people are familiar with the telltale signs of a heart attack, such as sudden chest pain and constriction, but heart attack symptoms can manifest themselves in several other ways too.  This informational video from the NHBLI covers some of the causes and lesser-known symptoms of heart attacks.

A heart attack can induce nausea and vertigo and may be preceded by upper body pain in the chest, arms, back, or jaw.  Even if you’ve suffered a heart attack before, the symptoms may not be the same for another.

Here at the West Hills Hospital Accredited Chest Pain Center, our cardiovascular specialists can help you determine your risk and treatment options for cardiovascular disease.  Learn more about heart attack symptoms with our free iTriage Symptom Checker app for android and iPhone devices, and call (818) 676-4321 today to schedule a medical exam
